    Bamboo Playscape / Paraa received ‘Award for Excellence in Architecture 2017’ by Institute of Architects Bangladesh & Berger

    We are excited to be part of the winning pool of the ‘Berger Award for Excellence in Architecture 2017’, a biennial award given by Institute of Architects Bangladesh and Berger. Paraa is awarded in the urban design and landscape category for its recently completed project the Bamboo Play-scape. The jury wished to mention this project for highlighting the value of process in architecture, and as an example of architects’ involvement in raising awareness.

    The project was supported by the EMK Small Grants, Nupami BD, Sajida Foundation, Architect Nazmul Haque Khan and Dr. Shamsun Zaman.

    An exhibition of the project along with other awarded projects is underway at the IAB Center in Agargaon, Dhaka. We welcome you to drop by and leave your feedback.
